[Grovenet] Capital punishment? I don't need no stinkin' capital punishment . . . .

Bob,

No, I don't mean that at all.

I'm not concerned about bread thieves. I am concerned by murderers, rapists, predatory sex offenders, etc.

You probably already know that even Measure 11 doesn't address bread thieves (unless it's a truckload)

Sounds like an 18th century British proposition!! Every one from the man who steals a loaf of bread to feed his starving family up to Donald Trump must go to jail?? After all, they have all victimized someone!!

Bob,

I'm only bitter toward those thatr victimize others. I feel that incarcerating those that victimize others is a compassionate position.

And I feel very sorry for you that something happened to you in your life that has made you so bitter toward your fellow man.

Bob,

For me, the most compelling reason for punishment is the protection ot the rest of society.

Retribution and rehabilitation are only about 20% each for me
