[Grovenet] I don't like the negative campaign ads

Today I posted letters to the editor with local papers.  They read:

Last week, I got one of those campaign surveys for an "unstated"  
political candidate.  They asked if a specific negative campaign  
would influence me to vote for Jeff Merkley over  Steve Novick.  I  
said, "No, I refuse to listen to negative campaign ads."

Tonight I saw that campaign ad on television.  My response is  
straightforward, people who run negative campaigns are mean  
spirited.  They are losers who have conceded the high ground and are  
attacking from behind.  That tactic is more akin to Karl Rove.

If I had a problem making a public statement on this race before  
before, I don't have one now.

Say "No!" to negative campaigning.  Say yes to Steve Novick for U.S.  
Senator.
