One definition of a kabuki dance is an activity or drama carried out  
in real life in a predictable or stylized fashion.
It is a shame that the presidency itself has been reduced to a kabuki  
dance by this guy.

The examples in Olbermann's piece and Bush's own words in the tiny  
url article bring this into uncomfortably sharp focus.
